Recognition Team's Mission

To cultivate a work environment where employees are encouraged to support genuine, spontaneous and meaningful forms of appreciation.

The Recognition TEAM achieves this by:

  • Developing and administering recognition programs that formally acknowledge years of service and superior employee performance.
  • Developing and administering high quality events, programs and services that enhance the well-being of the UWMC family, and in this way, creating a sense of camaraderie, involvement, and mutual support.
  • Emphasizing recognition of behaviors that reflect UWMC values (Accountability, Respect, Innovation, Service and Excellence.)
  • Acknowledging behaviors that reflect our Standards for Service.
