What are "Show U Care" Grants?

"Show U Care" grant funds provide faculty and staff an opportunity to identify and respond to service enhancing ideas or programs. The overall goal is to improve the experience of patients and their families in ways that may not otherwise be funded through operational budgets. This program is funded through an endowment established by a gift to the University of Washington Academic Medical Center (UW Medicine).

One-time awards will receive preferred consideration, although ongoing programs will be considered. Partnering with other granting organizations or supplemental funding from operating budgets will be considered an advantage.
